The nonprofit association under the French Law of 1901 is established to lead MuseumWeek and the initiatives that will follow, and to put culture at the service of causes of general interest.
2017–2019
In partnership with UNESCO and The New York Times, we highlighted the contributions of women in the cultural sector through international campaigns, portraits, and 63 events in 16 countries promoting gender equality.
May 2019
The Instituto Brasileiro de Museus, a federal institution that leads the museum policy of some 3,700 establishments, aligns its 17th National Museum Week with MuseumWeek: 1,114 institutions, 3,222 activities, and our themes relayed nationwide.
November 2022
The exhibition is created at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, on the occasion of Earth University.
April 2023
The exhibition is presented at Art For Tomorrow, in Florence, from April 26 to 30, 2023.
June 2023
The exhibition joins the Non Fungible Conference in Lisbon, June 7 and 8, 2023.
