International engagements

These trips and speeches do not all have the same status: some are part of a mission or co-organization, others are invited participation. Together, they demonstrate the international dimension of his work.

Langfang, China · 2024

Invitation to participate in the World Theatre Day celebrations. This presence was due to an international invitation, not an action organized by the association: it is presented here as a professional and cultural exchange.

Cultural diplomacy

Benjamin develops a cultural diplomacy approach based on cooperation between institutions, professionals, and audiences. His work involves creating spaces for dialogue where culture, museums, sciences, and technologies can contribute to international relations.

This component was developed at UNESCO, within programs related to heritage, education, human rights, and hate speech prevention, then in the projects of Culture For Causes Network and MuseumWeek.

His missions and invitations to Samarcande, Doha, Abu Dhabi, and Langfang illustrate different forms of this diplomacy: institutional conference, prospecting, co-organization, and invitation.
